The Christmas Gerbil!

The Christmas Gerbil was spotted today dressed in a red sweater and snow flake collar at our family gathering!
Since there has been a shortage of Christmas Elf's Santa has begun using Christmas Gerbil. This one was left behind or fell off Santa's sleigh so we decided to take it home and care for it until next Christmas with the hopes that Santa will take it back, lol!

Team Viagra was able to get it up and keep it up this time.
Chris was kind enough to make us all team shirts. Here I am with mine!!!!

Cold Night Warm Fire!

The Ice Storm Cometh!

What a surprise when we opened the door to let the pack out for their morning patrol when we all came to a sliding stop half way across the ice covered deck!!
Over night the temperature dipped below freezing causing our rain fall to freeze.
This picture shows the pine trees in our backyard bending as they became top heavy with ice. Five years ago we lost several pines to ice!
