Beautiful picture of Lake Michigan. Surface winds must have been running at 15 to 25 knots as white caps were visible from 12,000 ft. I thought I might see a Laker however there was nothing but water for as far as I could see!
Here's a pictures of the coast of Cheese Head Land and the Milwaukee International Airport. I have heard they have a third rate football team but can't remember the teams name, lol!!!
On a flight from Grand Rapids MI to Milwaukee WI I flew on a German built Dornier 528 Regional Jet. It's over head wing design afforded beautiful views on Lake Michigan. In this day of low wing jet aircraft it is unusual to have such a commanding view of an operating jet engine. I thought this was a great picture. It was taken 0n Friday 17th 2006.
Once I arrived at the hotel it continued to snow another 4". I stayed in the hotel and had a great salmon dinner at the hotel restaurant. There were no delays at the airport in the morning!
After leaving Grand Rapids MI and driving to Chicago I drove into a snow storm a few miles from the CVS I was finaling! It snowed for hours dropping 6"!
The weather folks were predicting a possible evening accumulations of two inches of snow for northern GA however we woke to an overcast and dry morning. At around 9 PM I happened to look out the window to quarter size snow flakes! The snow shower lasted a half hour with no accumulation. I guess that was our yearly snow event!
Super Bowl party at Chris and Molly's house. When Neil his son moved out Chris turned his bedroom into a media room complete with an HDTV which we cut into the wall. My poor Seahawks lost the Super Bowl!
After being sick during the Christmas holidays and having my side shaved my hair is finally growing back! I'm starting to feel like a normal dog! This is the best home I've ever had and I'm so glad to be here.
Last weekend Beth's Uncle Sam and Aunt Carolyn visited from Nashville. The family gathered at June and Judd's for dinner where this plate of fudge transfigured onto the table! It sure was good!
