Terrier in Spring!

Janie enjoyed her day frolicing in the spring sun shine while I caught up on my lawn work.
I think this may be the year I hire a lawn person!

Spring Has Sprung!

Spring has finally arrived in Georgia with all the flowering trees and shrubs in bloom. Spring along with fall are my two favorite seasons in the south. I have grown to dislike snow and I hate the southern summer heat! Thank God for AC!!

Holly Springs Tornado

Our friend Chris was able to get this pictute from our local Krogers store of the tornado hitting the town of Holly Springs located just north of Woodstock.
Holly Springs-area historical tornado activity is slightly above Georgia state average. It is 91% greater than the overall U.S. average.
Great picture Chris!!

Tornado Warning

This video shows the storm racing by us to our north. Sirens can be heard in the background!

Watching For Tornados

The past twenty four hours has seen the most tornados on the ground in recent time here in Georgia with one devastating Atlanta’s downtown area.
The storms caused by a low pressure cell over MS and AL sent wave after wave of strong thunderstorms building as they swept along at almost fifty miles per hour.
Two such cells barely missed us swiping just miles north of us in which two people were killed.
Here’s an obviously concerned Beth and Janie watching the storms swipe by north of us around 11:15 AM Saturday morning!
