Doggy Garden
I also made a memorial garden for Janie, Louise and Thelma. While they are not buried in the garden we thought it would be nice to have a flower garden in their honor. I’ll plant flowers this weekend and paint rocks for each of them.
New Plantings
This weekend I spent most of it outside working in the garden. I extended the deck flower beds around the rear of the house connecting them to the side beds. I installed low voltage lighting and patio stone steps to the hose. I also transplanted to bushes that will be in the way once I start to extend the deck and planted tomatoes!
I'll finish wiring the lights and install a few more patio stones next weekend.

Doggy Play Day
The other day I came home to a hallway of toys. Seems there was a doggy play day while we were at work!
New Couch and Area Rug
With the new Pergo flooring installed in the den Beth and I visited Woodstock Furniture and purchased a new couch, area rug and lamp.
The room is super comfortable!
New Pergo Floor
Last weekend I removed the carpet in the den/TV room and replaced it with oak Pergo flooring that matched the solid oak hardwood I installed in the hallway/stairway last November.
Pergo is very easy to install with no glue or nails. As you can see it turned out great.

Spring in Atlanta
As you can see spring is in full bloom in Atlanta. My heart attack pink azaleas is showing off as it does every year thanks to fertilizer lovingly supplied by Lola!
New Kitchen Faucet
Our 16 year old kitchen faucet started leaking and need to be replaced. A simple project morphed into removing the entire very heavy cast iron sink and five trips to Home Depot, lol!
We love the new faucet and Beth reports that it makes bathing Cokie easier!
