Leaves changing color in our backyard woods.

The last roses!

Yellow Daisies.

This split leaf clover is sixteen years old and started as a house plant! It died and was tilled into the garden where it has grown back every year since!

Gummy Fingers!

I bought these for the kids, lol! What can I say!

Bedroom Remodel!

Beth and I have started our bedroom remodel project! We’re painting the walls “Squirrel Gray”, lol and installing cherry hardwood floors. We shopped at Tuesday Morning and found a dark olive bedspread combo and drapes. We are looking for new lamps, side tables and I’m building a new bed frame. I’ll post pictures of our efforts when complete.

Tree Color!

We are officially into fall here in Georgia with all the trees starting to show color. This Maple which is one of three trees located down the street is dressed in flaming red leaves.

Halloween Ghost!

With Halloween approaching we saw our first scary Ghost haunting our front porch last night! We were very scared!

Bubbles!

Bubbles our 50 pound Gold Fish continues to enjoy life in her aquarium in the kitchen window. Bubbles started life as a twenty-nine cent skinny little feeder gold fish four years ago!

Indoors for the winter!

Since fall has arrived in Georgia and evening temperatures have been dropping it was time to bring the cactus indoors for the winter from their summer home on the deck. My favorite cactus grew at least two feet over the summer and was a chore getting it in the house. I wish we lived just bit further south where it could stay outside!

Fall in Georgia!

Fall has finally arrived in Georgia and we are all celebrating the cooler weather! Our normal fall temperatures range from the 75/80F during the day and 40/50 during the evening during the fall allowing us to finally turn off the AC and open the windows.

As you can see by the Impala’s outside temperature gauge it was 43F yesterday morning!

Fort Myers FL Flower

During a recent trip to the Fort Myers FL area this red Bougainvillea was in full bloom outside of one of the CVS stores.

Cutest butt in town!

Marco spends a better part of the day standing guard on the patio table always alert to any squirrels, chipmunks, flies and lizards anywhere in the backyard. He may have a bit of pointer blood in him!
