Baltimore Airport Highlights!

Thurgood Marshall Tribute at the Baltimore Airport.
Born in Baltimore, Maryland on July 2, 1908, Thurgood Marshall was the grandson of a slave. His father, William Marshall, instilled in him from youth an appreciation for the United States Constitution and the rule of law. After completing high school in 1925, Thurgood followed his brother, William Aubrey Marshall, at the historically black Lincoln University in Chester, Pennsylvania. Just before graduation, he married his first wife, Vivian "Buster" Burey. Their twenty-five year marriage ended with her death from cancer in 1955.

Bow Legged?

Is my sweet boy bow legged, lol!!!

The return of Nanook of the North!

I decided to drive to Piedmont SC this week so I broke out the old Radio Shack CB and resurrected my old CB handle. It was fun listening to all the truck drivers. Nothing has changed since my first CB in 1974!

Miami Thunder Storm

While landing in Miami last week we worked our way around several bumpy thunder storms!!

Fell at work!!!

You know the saying “the older they are the harder they fall”, well I’m here to tell you that is true!!! While visiting a store a few weeks ago I gracefully tripped over a pallet and smashed head long into a plywood wall taking a fair amount of skin off my left arm. It’s better now but boy did that hurt!!!

Sorry we had to pee!!!

When you have to go you have to go!!

Epicentro Café Miami

While in Miami last week a Enrique took me to his favorite Cuban cafe. First opened in 2001 the Epicentro Cafe now has four locations in the Miami area. While not speaking a word of Spanish my lunch translated simply as Meat and Potatoes and it was really good!

Phat Dogs

While on a recent trip to Located in Piedmont, SC I happened on a great place to eat!

If you really want to find yourself in a place you'll be coming back to because you thoroughly enjoyed it, Phatdogs is one of those places.
When you go, make sure to bring a friend and a good appetite. Don't skimp, get the all beef kosher, satisfy your sweet tooth and get the brownie, expect to marvel at the cleanliness of the restroom, and delight in bottomless cold and really tasty tea.

A prayer for my Beth.

Dear God,

This is my wife who has breast cancer whom I love and this is my prayer for her. Help her live her life to the fullest. Please cause her to excel above her expectations. Help her to shine in the darkest places where it is impossible to love. Protect her at all times, lift her up when she needs You the most, and let her know when she walks with You, she will always be safe.

Amen!

New Shirt!

My hero wife has cancer so I decided to support her by sporting this new pink shirt saying, “When the going gets tough, the tough call “BETH”!

Yes I was a little boy once!

This picture was taken in 1954 on Partington Ave in Windsor Ontario. My Grandfather Sarc bought me my first lawn mower and I have enjoyed yard work ever sense. Okay yes I hire a lawn guy to cut my grass now but I enjoy watching him do the lawn work, lol!
