About the only thing that really enjoys the recent heat wave is our cactus plants.
It's been so hot that our other house plants wilt and die with about a half hour of exposure even in the shade!
Atlanta's weather has been much warmer this summer than last? It has! This is especially obvious when looking at the number of 90-degree days. Through the end of July 2006, there were only 6 days with afternoon temperatures of 90 degrees or higher. This year there have been 22!
It's been hot enough to melt a dog and summer has just begun!
